Mk3 Rear Brake Caliper Removal

Hi all,

I took a look around on the web and forums and could not find a conclusive answer - can anyone tell me what the tool is to remove a rear brake caliper on a 2001 Ibiza Cupra. It seems to be some funny allen key arrangement.

just two allen key bolts, one top one bottom.

wd-40 them up in advance coz they can be a biatch to loosen (bent my neighbours allan key to fook lol)

15mm open ended spanner, 13mm socket, remove the 13mm bolts while holding the slider still with the 15mm spanner.

unclip the handbrake cable once it's free - and mind you don't snap the brake line (easy to do)

this will let you get the disc out, no need to remove the carrier (which sound like you're trying to do)

but if your changing pads youll need to wind back the caliper
