Haha mine still annoys the hell out of me, but yet I still enjoy it. To be completely honest though I was rather drunk last night when I made this and made the horrible mistake of going on ebay and buying a sh1t load of stuff and thinking it was a great idea.
Im a bit annoyed now, that was one of the more expensive nights out at the pub as i woke up with a 150 dent in my account :/

i think most people who have subscribed to this thread are addicted to there car as looking at the post counts of some people on this thread proves including myself.
also you cant say you wont miss your car untill you have experienced not having it anymore.

this is only my 3rd car i used one of my dads aswel for abit

1.1 peugeot 106 mk1 regretted sellin it then it got wrote off
1.4 mk3 ibiza chill sold it then got wrote off
my dads peugeot 106 mk2 sold it now wrote off

now my ibiza just hope when i sell it it dont get wrote off lol

they don't look bad !

ok yeah they're not Ferrari 458's, but I can think of many uglier cars !

and everything just works on them... I test drove many cars and they all have problems, vauxhall and peugeot have funny clutches, some have numb steering, laggy turbos

and then when you consider the price, nothing rivals them :)

Corsas i had were the 'c' shape so deffos not as good as the ibizas. I dont think the newer 'd' shapes are better either. Interior of the vxr obviously is better though

i was i the 'd' interior the other day and i honestly think the mk4 is more sturdy than that interior, if you put pressure on the dash it moves the whole dashboard up towards the window with little force...

it's a bit more exciting in Corsa D, but it's sooo lonnggggg it feels like more car is infront of you than behind!

yes i know what you mean, would be a pain to park i would think. I thought the driving position was weird, kind of like you are perched up high and the steering wheel is really close to you

the 1.7 sri would probs be a good car, but then the fr's are even better imo. then heres the vxr which will melt piston 4/ gearbox will fook up. I'll be staying german from now on tbh! My 1.8 sri was awesome to own at 18 though when everyone else had 1.0's and 1.2's though

How did you get insured on a FR when you was 18.When i was 18 i had a 106 1.1 the insurance was £1400 a year.It went well theo used to beat most my mates with there 1.4 fiestas lol

I was driving my mums about, she has 1.7 CDTi and then I got back in mine and was like... WOW everything is just normal and as expected... then put my foot down and was like yesss this is home :)

trying to persuade her to get remap!

I heard they don't get good mpg standard & actually need to be mapped to get decent out of it

managed 56.5mpg out of my TDi Sport, and it's remapped, impressive =]
