The MK4 Polo rear wiper fits as i have it on mine.
Not sure about the Golf one though.

what the have you done to yours then!!??Mine fits fine, had to grind the cap down a bit to fit the washer jet but it cleans the windscreen beautifully and needed no adapting!
that's ok then thought u may be going a bit mental with a saw, had visions of you on your drive carving the hell out of an aero wiper

the cap is annoying that it needs filing down by about half an inch, other than that it's fine
