Today, the auto boot didn't work very well.
The first time unlocking the boot the lid didn't open. After closing it manually and unlocking it with the rc again, it opened completely finally.
This happened twice today.

Yesterday I ordered the correct gas springs (Audi art no. 8E5827552K) mentioned above. Hopefully that will solve it.

Do you know the price off the correct gas springs?
Can you add the partnumbers, prices etc.. @ first page please?

It's also possible to have the 5 ventilator knobs illuminated. Some glue an LED behind the knobs, someone else replaced the units by RS4 cabrio types.

Any more info on this mod? Is it a total DIY job or is there some Audi parts that can be ordered?

Hi there,

Is there any chance of doing a step by step instruction for the ambient lighting.

Looks like an easy one for those of us that aren't too technical!

Cheers

Here's one translated from German with Google: Link

As far as I remember you need a small torx screwdriver to remove the 2 screws that are holding the unit against the ceiling.

You can also buy a complete unit with the ambient led's, but they're quite expensive. I guess appr. GBP 100,--.

Yes, it's just plug in play.

Just make sure you insert the ambient led unit the correct way otherwise it might not be well aligned with the 2 holes.

In the picture below you'll see where to connect the green and brown wire to:

In the UK a lot of part numbers are different from the rest of the EU,. This is because in the UK they have right hand drive cars where the rest of Europe use left hand drive cars.

For people from Romania it is better to look for part numbers in these forums:
- Germany: http://www.seatforum.de/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=67
- Spain: http://clubseatexeo.com/es/index.html
- France: http://www.exeo-concept.fr/index.php?/page/index.html
- Netherlands: http://www.seat-online.nl/ or http://www.seat-online.nl/forumdisplay.php?128-SEAT-Exeo-3R-(2009-heden)

You might need Google these websites for translation.
