Well I found it now. It's got a later MGF engine and the guy is having a very happy day out on the track

Now that proves you don’t have to spend a fortune to have fun on track.
Think I’d put a roll cage in it though bearing in mind the old ncap rating.
Agreed the bit that always gets me this guy had more people asking about the car whilst a top of the range Porche nobody was interested in.

Saw this on a drive out to the coast and saw this Leyland Tiger PS1 Crossley bus
Sorry not a very good picture but love the simplicity of the old dashboard, Speedo, Clock and two other dials what more do you need
And I bet this will last much longer than many of the modern electric ones (yes I am old and sad)

Yes very nice and will last as you say, and you are not old and sad just a lot more mature and wiser.
Well XMAS Walk with the dog (its all his fault) saw this unusual motor for the road.
1975 3500cc Petrol (I am guessing that's the Buick Engine) 2 Axle Landy
rain soaked look inside (looks very cold to me even with any heat from engine)
Then we spotted a couple old Landys quietly rotting away in a scrap yard for spare parts I am told
And finally a very sensible place to park you Morris Minor

Yes it was like walking through a proper scrap yard where you climbed over cars and took off the bits you needed (now that is going back)
Last time I went to a scrap yard like that was 2011.
I had an Austin Allegro and they got a scrap one in, even in 2011. But it had a brand new primed wing on it.
I called on my way home from work, took my cordless drill and spanner’s, got the wing and several other bits of it and paid something like £50 for the lot.
I miss those days.
I remember going to a scrap yard with my dad, when I was a boy and you also had to remove what you wanted yourself. My dad was always skint so he would purchase a couple of parts, but also take a few more expensive parts to the rear of the compound, and toss them over the fence to collect later.
