Just had my brakes upgraded and 10mm spacers fitted on all corners today. Went for brembo 4-pot 330mm in Aluminium finish. I didn't bother with red or black calipers as i didn't want to bother with spraying the rear calipers. The spacers definitely help the stance of the car.

Now with the brakes and suspension upgraded, they only thing i have left to do is the intake, exhaust and engine mods. DPF-delete the final mod, but need to sort the intake and exhaust first.

Looks lovely. For the benefit of the dummies (me, in this case!) can you tell me what the point of adding spacers is? Does it affect handling or is it a pure "looks" thing? Can it be done to any Leon? The reason I ask is that I've always thought mine looked too far in. Cheers.

The brake kit with fitting was about £1450
With the 10mm spacers (£75+vat per axle) it needed longer bolts for the wheels which added about £80 to the price including McGard locking wheel nuts.
All my parts were supplied and fitted by Star Performance in Kirkaldy.
The spacers were fitted mainly for looks as standard the wheels can look a little far in, but i also needed spacers for the front so that the alloys would clear the caliper.
I'm not sure but with a wider track the car should in theory be more stable, but not 100% sure.

Still bedding the brakes in, but the brake pedal is definitely firmer than before.

Car looks really sweet with some good mods, just need to get my arse in gear and start modding my FR

they are eibach spacers. there are wider ones available. some people have got 15mm spacers. as long as the wheel doesn't stick out too much then it shouldn't look stupid.

Brembos look the business mate. Did you order them from Star? £1450 for the lot sounds good. Been looking at upgrading brakes on mine and prices for Tarox and so on all fall into the same range.
