Sorry to be sensible, I vote emissions! Lol. If it hasn't been driven since August, everything will have a nice tin layer of gunk on it

give this man a medal

it failed on emissions only got to get it mapped to be CO2 friendly



although as a bonus i now know it's mechanically sound, so once the emmissions are sorted it's all good in the hood

Guess it has been stood for ages though. Mine failed an emissions check prior to my MOT. Bloke in the garage told me to take it out for a spin, came back and it passed easily with no problems at all.
Quite common on things like GTi's from what he said??

hmmm that might be the case then, but cant give it a good thrashing at the moment, because it has had a new clutch and that needs to bed in
