MP3 Head Unit - CD Changer Connector - How Many Pins?

I'm getting closer to getting my Dension Ice-Link installed in my 2.0 TDi Sport, but apparantly I need to know the size of the CD changer connector in the back of the head.

Does anyone have this information to hand?

It's the MP3 version if that helps.

My 06 2.0 Tdi Reference Sport with mp3 player is 12 pin.. really difficult to source parts from.. i would recommend removing the radio to be sure though.. as some versions come with a 6 or 8 pin mini iso.

That's interesting - I had a quick word with the local dealer parts guy who told me I needed a Quadlock lead that equates to this:

This appears to be a 12 pin lead - so it looks like you're right.

Looks like all I need is the Quadlock changer lead and that's only £18.

About time that getting my iPod in the car cost less than £20.
