it would be nice to confront our fuel consumption after the tuning on 200+ horses diesels

please if you wish post MODS and average fuel consumption

i will start:
Engine: CR 170 DSG 2010
MODS: dpf off, egr off, revo 217hp
MPG: 43

just copy:

ENGINE:
MODS:
MPG:

ENGINE: 170PD FR 2008
MODS:Shark stage 2 remap About 215 Bhp + Dpf delete
MPG:So far according to my fuelly App 40/41 Mpg

I was hoping for more

ENGINE: pd170

MODS: dpf delete, egr delete, straight through exhaust, upgraded panel filter, shark stage 2 map

MPG:

Motorway - 48-55
town - 43-47

Changes considerably with summer and winter fuel. Numbers above dictate both.

ENGINE: cr170
MODS: stage 1 dpf delete
MPG: 45 town. 55 on a run.

Ok not a leon but same engine/drivetrain etc.

Drove 400 miles on Saturday at 80-85mph and still had 290 miles left in the tank I couldn't believe it. :)

our leon tank is 55liters, no way i can make 500 miles on a tank imho
another problem, gauge doesn't indicate precisely half tank, you actually got less than half quantity when you see half tank on the gauge ..

I usually get over 520 to a tank, I don't drive conservatively but I don't thrash it everywhere if that makes sense

Wow, I'm a standard CR170 (dsg) and drive 80% conservatively and 20% "with verve" and don't achieve some of the figures above.

Anything over 75mph on run = 43/44. Keep it to 75 and below and I'll get 48-50

Town work = 40ish but difficult to tell as I don't drive during rush hour and don't spend a gret deal of time in town.

I consistently get 500 miles from a tank, sometimes 520 if gentle and 460 if I've had more fun than usual.

I think a remap map may work for me!

Mines also standard and 80-90% of my driving is town driving and rarely see over 40-41 MPG. This is again 80% conservative and 20% spirited.

Even on long runs with the cruise on at 75-80 mph I dont see more than 42-43 mpg.

Consistantly acheive 470-500 to a tank though.

Just throwing this out there for people to try. For those of you who consistently sit at 70-75 on the motorway in 6th gear, try doing a tank in 5th. I never use 6th as my car is more efficient at 70 in 5th. Possibly this is why I'm getting better results.

485km done on half tank indicated today. Mostly outside town journeys. I will try to get the most out of it till i run out of fuel. Will buy a 5l canister to have it in the boot for when it happens

5th was better @70mph. I found that my pd had a sweet spot at 82mph in 6th which give better mpg (46) than 70mph in the same gear.

This thread is depressing me!!! Even with the stage 2 & dpf delete I was still hoping for more than 40/41 my 57 plate 520 d m sport ( mapped to 200 bhp ) could average 39 mpg & that was a dam sight heavier than my Leon...
