Great job fella.

Very tempted to do same on mine, but so that we arent 'twinsys' I might hit mine with the clear coat dip to gloss it up to match the diffuser finish - not sure yet, the badge might look sht gloss :)

Cheers Paul nice one mate ;)

That would look tidy I think,I'm sure there was a leon that had a S badge wrapped in gloss black. Will try and find it and forward you a link.

If and when it needs doing again I might do the S badges in white but for now I'm happy with them.

Looks spot on that mate and liking the gloss back bumper insert, looks sweet!

I've actually got a can of plasti dip ready and waiting, had it for around 8 weeks now, just waiting for a good day to do my rear badges?!

How long did you leave it between coats and how long did you leave it dry before removing it?

Cheers mukka ;)

between each coat I'd say ten minutes mate then after the final pass I left it no more than twenty minutes.

One thing I would say ideally you should clean the car right before you do it then get her completely dry before you start.

Go for it Rich will look smart on yours :)

Cheers for that fella, next job on my list, fingers crossed for the weather

Looks great Craig, did it just peel off the paintwork leaving the lettering black or did you have to cut any bits?

Also where did you buy the FL rear wiper from? Mine needs an update

Yes mate just peels off with no cutting at all. Only bit that needed removing was inside the letters P,R and A for this I used a cocktail stick and removed it easily bud.

Just make sure you give it five coats but go light with the first one.

Got the FL wiper arm, blade and cap from Dave at sere. All parts needed are in the part numbers thread.

Good stuff, will get some and do my front badge. Then I'll get round to fly eyeing the headlights.

Might do the rear one and I guess I can always peel it off if I don't like it.

Was looking at that but just decided to stick with the polished look. Although I don't like shinny badges/lettering i don't mind a shinny zorst.

I'm just difficult to please... Well that's what the Mrs says sometimes :D

Cant believe the price of those exhausts!! Sure they're worth the money though.

You'll have to stick a video up once its fitted. Really want a petrol car again, I'm not doing enough mileage to justify the PD170.
