Nothing too much to report at the moment, just got the new tax disc for the year (ouch!)

So treated her to a Richbrook black tax disc holder with the "r" on the back. :)

Also have some new plates for her as well, nothing glamorous, just plain with a black border and www.seatcupra.net along the bottom. :D

Not brake light led's dude, indicators!

They are still on the "to do" list Tom I'm afraid, should hopefully have bash this weekend, got everything I need, just need to nklow which wires to splice into for the resistors!

Im tempted to go all out and replace the lot

wonder if anyone here has done it..

OK, BUSY day yesterday!

Got round to fitting my new front grooved brake discs that I bought from brad (cheers again dude!)

While I was at it, I had a proper look at the calipers to see just how bad they were, the rears were mullered, the paint was starting to bubble where surface corrosion was creeping in, and the fronts unfortunatley had FAR too many chips to warrant just rubbing down and lacquering, SO, I took the decision to repaint all 4 calipers in red caliper paint.

I'm going to get some brembo stickers for the fronts as I think they look a little bare?

Also, can someone confirm whether these discs are the right way round? I had a search on here but could'nt find anything concrete, also, the pic I found from when they were on brad's car shows them on this way.

The reason I ask is that when I'm slowing down, I'm getting a "whooo" kind of noise when I'm getting close to stopping and wondered if it was because of the way the grooves are going round??

Anyhoo, PICS!!!! (I know, what a rarity for me eh? ;))

She's coming along nicely. The brake are the right way around, unfortunately they so tend to make a fair amount of noise. Mine do, although they're badly warped which doesnt help!

Good work on the discs Mark! Calipers are also looking nice and bright. Really need to get mine done soon :(

The car is coming along nicely, keep it up :)

Thanks Tom, the calipers are VERY red! It's a LOT brighter than than the original brembo colour, I did it with Halfords caliper paint (tin not spray) very carefully with a brush!

There's 3 coats on each caliper!

Do you need to apply anything else ontop of the 3 layers at a later date though?

Where you getting the Brembo decals from for the caliper? Direct from Brembo?

I've used the paint on every car I've had for the last few years, all I do is just keep an eye on them and if they start to look a little chipped or faded, I either repaint or touch up the chips. I've never put any lacquer over them.

Mind you, I may well lacquer the stickers when I've put them on, not sure yet. Will see when they're fitted!

Stickers are coming from ebay, going for black.
