Pleased to hear you're keeping the LCR, but more importantly things are picking up for you. :) Lets hope 2012 is a better year for you :)

Car threw it's toys out of the pram again yesterday, CTS went down. All sorted now and I've had the trial Revo map put on at the same time, the joys of working for a Seat dealer that does Revo!! :)

Revo trial map = WIN!

Now to save pennies for the real deal!

Short lived good time though, EM light is on. Again. GGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL at the EM light comment... nice to give the revo a go though Mark! Bet you want it 24/7 now ;)

Defo worth saving for!

I just got the Revo stage 1 "linear" map on mine last week, it's ace :) Struggling to get the power down right now though, my front tyres are past their best and the roads round here are really slippy. Got wheelspin in 5th one night :)

I splashed out about 20 quid on one of those VAG fault code readers off ebay when I was getting a lot of EMLs, makes life a bit easier than having to find someone with VAGCOM, or even if you have VAGCOM it's handier to have that in your boot or glovebox.

Tom, it'as great! Definitely gonna start the fund building after xmas!

8bit, I work for Seat now, and used to work for VW so it's all cool, just annoying!

Turned out to be down to the fact that one of the techs didn't erase my CTS fault properly. Definitely going to look into a fault code reader though, just for my own benefit!

Roads are proper slippy this morning, got an MG ZT at the moment that I'm using while waiting for my company car (don't ask!) and hit a small patch of black ice, my bum was taking bites out of the seat lol!

Looks like a control unit issue. Fault stored is coolant regulator, there's no voltage to the secondary electric water pump and all the wiring and relays seem ok, so can only be that.

Arse.

Bad news :( I sometimes get no voltage to the secondary coolant pump but I've never had a code about it. I was advised to get and fit a new pump, which I've got but not fitted yet.

What was the code you got?

Sorry to see you've got a fault there Mark.

As 8bit has said, what does this code look like? Be keen to know.

Haven't got a fault code as he didn't print the Guided Fault FIndning. :(

He's followed a test plan for the secondary coolant pump which says to check voltage and supply in the wiring back to J293 control unit, it states that if no fault is found then to replace the coolant fan relay or the control unit.

Hey Mark, thanks matey!

Nope, no issues with them at all, got them from ebay, wired in the resistors and hey presto!

Went for Orange led's for the indicators and red for the stop/tail.

I DO need to wire in the resistors for the stop/tail's though as there's a fault stored for brake light switch.

Got them from ebay, make sure if you get those, you get the ones that have leds all round and on top, I think I've put pics earlier on in this thread?
