My Awesome GTi RR day results/pics

Hi peeps,

Went to Awesome on 19th May as part of Vag Cars RR day

It was a great day (thanks Craig!) and I was pleased with my figures for stage 1 Revo, BF cat back exhaust.

I got 198 bhp and 259lb/ft torque at the flywheel

Thought I'd share my pics I have eventually got round to downloading:

Peak bhp @ 4.5k is a bit weird.

K03 turbo's peak at 5.5k typically.

Think you might need to adjust your timing/boost.

What adjustments are required then......

More boost/less boost?
Advance/retard the timing?

I only have the SMIC - so more boost/timing may be an issue

Less boost, more timing.... one of the revo guru's will be able to tell you.

Nice results mate bhp seems pretty spot on. Torque seems a little high though?

same torque (and power) as the old Ibiza took at JBS once, HB5 T5 my settings were at the time - similar graph, but I had less tailoff

because you're then doing more top end, can't have boost & top end really

cars looks awesome and nice power you got.

Makes me think mines running like a bag of rubbish got a measly 189bhp and 217lb/ft at awesome gti, with more mods

matt, saw your car at awesome, didnt see it on the rollers, only stayed for an hour, some nice motors their that day, saw the charged VR6 and craigs monster run ....

Graph seems to tail off far to quick and irractically! Could possibly be running too much timing! Or **** fuel!!

Tails off probably coz of intake temps on standard smic.

Dave, i might see if any of the boys fancy it.
