Only messin mate - I'm actually quite embarrassed about my car (and glad nobody got a video of it) because mine coughed out a cloud of smoke at one point... and mines a petrol

Was done in 4th for us 6-speeders and 3rd for the 5-speeds

Oops... pop down to JKM, they know what they are doing and the rolling road is pretty much 100% accurate, second opinion on the power mate??

TSR are ment to know! they do all sorts...engine transplants....the guy that used to run it before had a twin turbo v12 lump in his passat. did over 200mph on a drag strip.

i reckon mine would have produced better if it were done in 4th. It obviously throttles up slower in 5th than in 4th....

The splitter is from Seat dealer, its off a LCR, about £20 iirc

Shush. No it doesn't. mine does tbh.....flies up to 90 and beyond. thats why i cant half think its wrong. ah well.

Paper figures aren't everything mate, how it feels on the road is important, just makes you feel you've wasted money when it doesn't produce the quoted figures!

Do you still have the standard clutch in there then?
