Spoilt for choice. Cordy, GTIR or mk2 Golf: all ready.
May use the Cordy for Jack Frost (croft again) : sunday 19th Jan
If it snows it'll be the mk2

Ds2500

Basically yes. Its on DS2500 now with 280 G60's. But for snow I have 14 and even 13 narrow rubber than will mean 239mm discs, so they will fit over. The DS2500 fit the early calipers and are likely to be better than the green stuff rubbish in there now (spare set)

So fit new ones..........
A rally (65 miles) uses just over half a set of fronts, so its not a difficult decision. DS3000 rock also, I use more 3000's but I did a very very fast rally in the cordy on 2500's and was very impressed with the bite and progression. 3000's are a lot harder to modulate on the grip limit
IMHO
We tend to rally on a mixture including poor surfaces, wet, cold, broken surfaces, gravel etc
3000's on the GTIR though , as they are paid for..
