Get a new Maf then dude, hi Danny_lad its Rob B off Corsasport just got a mk3 cupra last night :)
 
Yup, the N75 was fine when i tested it theres a chance it could have been damaged in the post as they are very fragile although i the jiffy bag should have protected it.

Like i said before dan, try DJ`s maf and N75 and see what happens. They can both be fitted and less than 10minutes.
 
not yet..gonna ask him nicely if i can borrow his maf and test that...n75 seems fine tbh...only on hard boost at 3k+ it cuts out..

from them recent logs...Do i have any boost leak or anything?
Also ive done alot of reading and what is sticky vanes on the turbo..Im still on the origanl at 100k cupra..

Dan tried my maf, defo seeing an improvement, plus his maf looks different to mine.
 
Defo an improvement...7k in 1st with boost and 5krpm in 2nd with boost then it went off and on again within a few mill secs...Like jurging...And my maf is completly different..

I couldnt belive how loud my spool is...was kinda shocked..

The Ecu is dry...It is Freezing out there tho...foggy ect

Kinda yeah I didnt drive it...on the way home my bro did...he didnt hammer it either..
Kinda noticed it wen i finaly got insured on a month later(was sat on my drive till then)
then it went from an on dash light till me noticeing it more on hard boost then it just got seriously worse and i was gettin 40mile to a 10er empty tank..

I disconnected the Battery when i got the dash light and when i connected it did go away and has ever since...
Lookin at the syptoms it has to be maf...And considering its a 3'' maf and tottaly different...to adams maf as his is the usal 2.5'' one with the correct part number.

It went like FOok when we swapped the Mafs over all the way to 7krpm in 1st and in 2nd it kinda missed boost then came back on then went to 3rd then boost again and then gimp mode well kinda...
But didnt stay in gimp mode with his maf but does with mine..

The missing might be the coilpack? also shorty after we got the following code above...

You've have to go to ENGINE ELECTRICAL then its just under it...Mines 2000 reg cupra..

But i cant hand mine back as mines a 3'' maf as it aint the correct maf its different..That the right one?

Sell the 3" on here, people will buy it for BT.

The top one is the one you want.

No wonder it was overfuelling with low g/s as you had a 3" maf on it.

Get the correct one reset and go from there.
 
Yeah me & adam thought that...Couldnt beilve the muppet put a 3'' maf on a standard cupra...
Just u2u ttroadster for a price on a bosch and see if he'll take the 3'' maf back as it aint the right one..
