u said u have already tried opening the wastegate by hand (by pulling the rod from the actuator)...

did u feel it sticking?? its held closed by a spring, so will have some resistance, but did it seem to open freely??

and did u hear the "click" noise of it closing?

Have you tried the wastegate again?

TToThec:

No mate he was just off pistonheads but the adverts long gone..
The Actuator rod does move with abit of resistance and does click when you let it go..

never mind... i just thought that if he had been on a forum u could have searched through his old posts

the wastegate sounds like its closing ok... but we dont know this for sure

it could still be the actuator... if the diaphram in it has a split then the n75 wont be able to open the actuator properly... but id wait until u have ruled out the MAP sensor as i think that could well be cause

Is my actuator pipes in the correct way....Adam did mention a while back when we 1st did the bypass that my pipes looked weird piccys...Do u have one that goes to the n75 and the other joins in to the Bypass?

ON MINE THE PIPES ON THE ACTUATOR ARE THE OTHER WAY AROUND!!!!!!!

on the top pic, the pipe nearest the camera goes to the bypass (plugged off on mine) and the pipe furthest away goes to the n75!!!

this could be the problem as each of theose pipes works on the actuator in different ways... they are each side of the diagram, so one opens the actuator with pressure, the other with a vacuum!!!

get on it!! switch them over!!
