the v-maxx coilovers are really good, im used to lowered cars so i had a fair idea of wot to expect but this is my 1st car on coilovers. It is quite hard as im down at the lowest limit of the coilovers but its not crashy, and the 18's mean you feel every bump and dip in the road as there is not much give in the tires but I find it to be a pretty comfortable drive considering the how low it is. As long as you can avoid potholes and manhole covers (which round my way means I hardly every drive in a straight line) its fine, and the handling is fantastic so I would definately recommend v-maxx just dont expect a smooth cushioned drive like it is as standard.

Just a brief update as Ive finally got a pic on my lap top of my car with new front bumper. Facelift Cupra bumper with smoother numberplate recess:

Custom made grilles for the bumper to come soon and you'll also be pleased to hear Ive straightened my crooked exhaust but unfortunately dont have any pics to prove this!

looks nice in the flesh mate, but i couldnt see when driving as you was in my soot lol

Lol yea your car does chuck out a bit of smoke Scotty! Good to meet up with you an karl the other night and see some more leons out and about

Ill be having the whole car re-sprayed at some point soon so Im not too fussed about the bumper being a slightly different colour at the mo. It will all match soon enough :)

Been a while since Ive been on here, have a couple more pics of my car with facelift rear bumper, sideskirts and colour coded bumpstrips to finish the MY03 look.

Suspension now raised slightly as car is now for sale.
