Hi,
I thought I'd post up a few pictures of my new(er) daily. I had a 2.0 8v, but when this was advertised on the forum I couldn't say no! It's a 1.8 16v GTi. It's had a few bits done to it, and to be honest, I don't really plan on doing much more.
Here's what it came with:
1.8 16v engine.
Welded (but removable) front and rear upper strut braces.
Bilstein PSS9 coilovers.
15mm Eibach rear spacers.
Stealth shelf.
Here's how I got it (bad picture, but you get a rough idea)
The purple Ibiza was sold a few days later, with the wheels the new 16v came with.
Here's how it's currently sitting after fitting the Cupra rims:
The spacers aren't fitted as I'm waiting for some longer bolts. It came with a very sketchy stud kit on it that I removed.
And a few future plans:
I might look out for a new steeing wheel as the leather has worn through on the current one. I also managed to bust some of the dash trims, as they had been glued in and weren't sitting correctly. I have found replacements and will hopefully get it sorted over Christmas. Only other plans are to remove all of the stickers from the back, and possibly de-wiper the rear as it doesn't work anyway.
Cheers
