Yea it looks alot neater, I spent a while giving the car a good clean yesterday
Just need to get a few bits sorted for players

I had a spare few hours on Sunday so I decided to give the car a good clean.
We had heavy rain Saturday and when I got in my car late on Saturday night the base of my drivers seat, but I cannot find any signs of a leak and I recently sealed the roof seals which stopped my dripping problem whilst driving!
So I thought it would be a good idea to dry some form of protection on my roof, I bought some Autoglym Rubber & Vinyl care which has given my roof a lovely shine we will have to see if it offers any form of waterproofing!

bloody hell thats mega low,can you get away with not paying in car parks by going under the barrier?

Haha cheers I was going to lower it a bit more but I like the fact it can still be driven hard at this height!
Me and my mate have thought about going under the Dartford toll when it's free late at night but not too sure how the security/ Police on the other side of the barrier will react

I managed to pick up a silver hardtop for a resonable price earlier in the week
And I've just ordered some new wheels!
I really can't decide on tyre size, either 205/40 or 215/40 on a 9.
I don't want to have too much and end up with loads of clearance but on the other hand it could be a pain to make them fit!

what size tyres are on your current wheels?

205/50/15 on 15x8 on the current wheels, they're quite chunky!
I'll get a pic up with the hardtop

The wheels will hopefully be turning up with tyres on Wednesday.
I've just ordered a Jass offset number plate mount and I might order a hard top spoiler.
I like the look of the MX5roadsters one, any reviews?
I might go and get square number plates made tonight if I have time

New wheels are here and on
I know a lot of people don't like them but I hadn't seen them on an mx5 and took a chance.
I went with 16x9 et20 all round

I only managed to get pictures of the test fit, and the sits better on the ground
I also lowered the front another 10mm or so.

i think they look pretty good not a lot different from the last wheels.

Bit of a poor picture but this is how it sits, the front needs to come down a bit and I will be happy
And it definitely needs the splitter to go on soon!!

your right they dont look completely different lol although they are only an inch bigger they fill the arches a lot more.

Yea they fill the arches better but are overall smaller than the 15's with the bigger tyres.

Only a small update.

I sealed the wheels using Carbon Collective's Platinum Wheel last night, with two coats it's supposed to last up to two years so I will keep you all updated on how it goes.

in your case then the protection should last longer than the ownership of the wheels
