Reet,
Picked up my new car last night, went for a nice long drive to see whats what, because its not brand new I thought I would try to spy any problems with the car - I really didn't think I was going to find any but I have:-
Rear passanger indicator light stops working for no reason, after a wiggle of the bulb it starts working again. (Seat garage told me to buy a new bulb)
Boot light doesnt work at all. There is also a nasty loose piece of plastic sound coming from the boot when I go along a bumpy road. I'm wondering if the bulb has come out and is stuck in that plastic moulding that surrounds the boot light.
The yellow TCS/ESP (is this the same warning dash light?) dash warning lamp came on after about 20mins of driving, it didnt flash as if I were wheel spinning, it came on and stayed on. I pressed the TCS button by the handbrake but it wouldnt go out??? - This one is abit worrying as the Leon manual states if it comes on and stays solid there is a problem.
When I told the Seat dealer bloke he was on about it comes on when the outside temp gets below a certain temp. This doesnt sound right to me, I think he was on about the little snow-flake symbol on the clock area that comes on when its cold outside.
I told him I was on about the YELLOW dash lamp, he said did it come on this morning on your way to work, I said no but it only takes me about 8 mins to get to work so wasn't driving for right long.
What do you chaps think of this?
Cheers,
T4i
