Just got back from motorscope with these reults: 193 and 285Ft of torque. I got 169 and 277Ft of torque when standard at Jabba. I am goin back to Jabba to get it rrd next week so I can properly compare the figures to the standard ones I got at Jabba a few weeks back.

Very pleased with the figures. Was Expecting torque to be higher but this could be down to the rollers. I know bugger all about the graph so can you lot please explain.

Thanks

I fear this could make me look silly as ive seen and compared many dyno's before, but in which area do you find it strange?

Im not studying it (eyes are all watery today) just looking at the curves which seem to be mostly consistant at least for the later part of the graph.

Did i miss the point?

Peak torque at 2280 when the turbo doesn`t start boosting untill about 2000 rpm.Peak power at 4376 and having 190 bhp at 4550. If it was a petrol maybe on a 1.9PD diesel with stock turbo then it looks very strange plus it was done in 4th gear not 5th.

Surely that is ok to have peak boost 200rpm after boost is upto full, stock the peak torque on my FR130 comes in at 1900rpm (according to mr handbook.....so unless im missing the point again (usually the case) it is a lil later than usual but that would be my choice on a map to save my poor clutch.

Ive seen other remaps hold the torque at more of a table top from the peak (on those maps 2200-2500 start almost level through to 3.5k before tailing off), who mapped it out of interest was it jabba?, i enquired with them when i was considering a remap but weddings put pay to remap plans lol.

People like to see Dyno's with out a correction factor , and i know motorscope have just had this RR'd put in and don't do many tdi's , that said its more to do with the re-map thats been done all things being equal.

The first part is ok peaking full torque at 2280rpm's , remember that its better for the turbo coming in at over 2000rpm because of the fear of turbo surge , but the fact the power drops off very abruptly would suggest the lack of both fuel and boost.

It looks like a large safety factor has been calculated into this first fase chip , and i would speculate that after the initial wave of power out on the road it would feel a little bit lacking in the mid to top end , you can get the same effect if you just change the throttle possition map plus 10% here and 10% there together with the fuel map.

I have heard that the said maps for diesels from this company do not raise the boost very much other than the extra boost you will get from the increase on more fuel which is now being injected , this dyno graph would also support this fact.

Peak torque at 2280  i don`t think so. AwesomeGTI have very good rollers just wish i lived closer to them.:(

I do think so... It looks surprisingly very similar to these two other 1.9D graphs who were done at your favourite rollers - Awesome GTi...

And since when did they do them in 5th gear???

In fact did you think at all before you posted in this thread and slag off the Rolling Road company/operator!?!?

Cheers for that ED. Just for the record the map is amazing so smooth and despite what the graph shows it pulls all the way to the read line.
