here is my arosa sdi ive names Geoff =]

some people will know the car from member on here i got it back in may and it drives great

heres some pics

couple days after i got it and gave it real good clean as it was a mess

now with 2 belts and no more stickers ..... much better

few bits done to it since i have had it,

re-fitted stereo so i have some music
fitted black aero catches so i can lock the bonnet

new front discs and pads
serviced
and picked up some new wheels 6j 15" weller wheels need either spacers or redrilled as currently ford fitment, currently refurbing not sure on a colour yet though

test fit with car in the air so will tuck in more at the top once fitted

gearbox issues.......believe seal has gone as all the oil has pissed onto the clutch but gearbox was making a funny noise before it went so now either need new gearbox or get mine rebuilt ... not good as sdi box's really hard to find and its like £500 for recon one =[

looks like a bearing destroyed itself in my gearbox so new bearings in need and casing that goes over the clutch as it put tiny hole in it

back on the road soon woooooooop miss my car so much

What's the front bumper from? Reminds me of an supermarket one for a corsa? Or kinda golf r32 ish?
Bet its proper noisey inside now that its stripped lol

yeah noise when im in a happy mood and my foot is on the floor lol but when just crusing its not bad tbh if i keep it clean if its got dirt and **** in you hear it moving about which is REALLY annoying lol

the front bumper is a Dietrich front bumper not 100% on it but will look loads better when side skirts are off and front it touching the floor

need to get tyres and wheels finished to do that though

well once the gearbox is sorted i will start playing with more power get the most i can out of the engine itself and then look into making it 1.7tdi eventually as i wanna keep it diesel dont wanna go petrol as drive to and from hertfordshire from october to may time each year for uni

got gearbox sorted £395 for recon one so just got to wait for them to send it out to me and i can get it all fixed again and be back on the road ........ happy days people happy days

That's a cool looking little car man, I'd love to shove a tdi in the bay of it, really like it. What about shoving in a 1.9tdi? I would've thought you'd get a complete one for cheap enough.

yeah im going to keep it as a 1.7and turbo that for now i think and then down the line think 1.9tdi or something abit different jusy hard being 20 and only been driving a year and living in bad insurance area lol already paying 2000 this year let alone with turbo and diff engine lol

paid 2600 tpft first year for a 1.1 saxo lol what happens when live in essex where people cant keep their cars on the roads ......just cant wait to get playing with the car again and not just fixing it

Yeh I know what you mean, I've been constantly fixin g stuff when really I want to get a vnt turbo and a tune to go with the bigger nozzles I've got fitted.

i needto get the turbo kit and everything i need for when i get back to uni so i can get my car in the garage and get few class mates and lectures to get it all set up perfect (i do a motorsport degree)

£480 with delivery and me sending them my old box bargain

car completely fixed apart from the headlights only have one main beam light thats it none of the side lights and headlights work so will have to have a play tomo and go from there.

Check the bulbs, switch, fuses and possibly relays then it's the wiring, oh I hate wiring in cars lol
