Rear wheel went over what corner? How do you know it's the front brake pad and how does that relate to the rear wheel?

sorry for my poor descriptions im not very good at describing stuff.
the rear wheel went over the corner of the kurb and i got my mates to check out the noise from outside and they said it was coming from the front wheel
i have no idea how the front wheel was effected but it was somehow
and now the front wheel is rubbing

I doubt they could effectively diagnose the noise tbh, you'd need to get the rear wheel off and have a proper look.

If the front wheel is rubbing are you not sure it was the front wheel that went over the curb :| It sounds like one of the suspension components such as the wishbone has been bent/misaligned.

I presume you went over the curb hard

Yeah don't be disheartened by these problems mate, just make sure you look after it and it will treat you well. Not sure why you hit a kerb

The amount I've spent on mine is something I don't want to quantify lol. I don't try to think of the could of would of should of's, you're only young once. But I do know it's been a great learning experience and there's so much more to do. I didn't buy the car worrying about resale costs, I bought it to have fun and meet some decent car enthusiasts. Taking it to the Nurburgring in August :)

The Neodesign kit is good but expensive hence I only bought the front bumper, but I do have side skirts sprayed and ready to go on, and will buy the Neodesign back bumper when I've saved enough lol So mate we're all trying to save and it just requires patience. This is the longest I've owned a single car (nearly 2 years). I'm only a student so I'm often the same as you, trying to stretch my finances lol.

Liking the look of yours btw, angel eyes rule. I'd have gone for the Imperial blue (your colour) or black if I hadn't found mine.

mine came with angel eyes I thinks that what drawed me to the car they also had a hid conversion which I didn't know about untill Guy at shop told me but they are abit yellow

I don't think mine is imperial blue as that's more dark mine is more sky blue need to figure it out as there is a little scratch on it. I prefer black cars aswell and my focus was black with black tints.

I will give your build thread a look tomorrow as I should go bed now

Cheers.

Im officaly pissed with my car
after finding out that noise and having it checked out it was just my brake pad and disc has a hight point but when it was on the ramp i was under it and could see loads of oil everywhere my mechanic said its all gear oil and not to worry too much but to make sure the fluid stays toped up as if i take it to another person they will say the whole gearbox needs changing
so where do i put the fluid in as i cant figure it out

18k included the purchase of the car but there was alot more work than just wheels and a kit, the kit was £1600 before it was fitted! allot of work went in fitting 5 stud 19's with a big drop and the interior also done, full custom install the money soon adds up! All the small exterior mods like smoothed bonnet with custom vents, smoothed roof, and de locked doors, porsche boxter wing mirrors with custom base plates, plus allot of engine work all cost money and time with professionals.
