hi mate i couldnt tell any difference because when the engine was out i bought a bigger turbo fmic, injectors, air mass meter the lot and had it custom mapped straight after i ran the engine in so there was a vast improvement then.
I wouldnt of bored it but the bock was damaged and i didnt want to run the risk of it breaking again.

oh yeah, keep forgeting to ask and whenever i see you it's always side on, is the back sorted now.

Did anything come of getting any paid for or money back or did you lose out on that side

Yeah its all be done now! its a minter of a job you would never no. Looks better than it ever did (got rid of the dreaded rust on the boot aswel). Also painted the complete passenger side because that door was a different shade since ive had it. Payed for it all myself, and the guy has completely got away with it what an absolute :w4nk:. hey ho thats life!

You had it RR'ed yet mate? I'm desperate to know how it compares to the like of the CR Turbos hybrid.

I emailed Matt at Turbo Dynamics about this last night asking how they compared and got this reply:

The compressor wheel used in MD445 is slightly smaller (one trim size) than that used in the RS6. The reasoning for this is, we found, there is no need to go for such a large compressor wheel. The other benefit of using the MD445 wheel is it fits in the standard compressor cover without the inlet neck getting too thin.

Obviously we can never guarantee power outputs as there are too many variables but the MD445 has been around for quite a few years now and is used by some top VAG tuners as well as plenty of people in your forum community.

your car was always the nicer mate, no bullsh:censored:ng i reckon it's one of the nicest yet most overlooked ibizas on here.

Condition, performance, choice of mods and time and effort are all top notch but im lucky enough that i can fully appreciate it
