Love it! what ARB did you go for cos I tried the adj drop links with no success. Also did you have to have spacers to fit the rims on to begin with, I know you put 15mm on later but do they fit without?

Looks stunning!

Thanks Mayfair :D

I went for the whiteline arb from DPM Performance. Was easy to fit if you have a basic grasp of mechanics :)

The fronts have always had the 8mm spacers in so the inner edge of the wheel clears the adjuster rings on the coilovers. It does need the spacers on the rear to clear the brakes after I put new discs and pads in (the calliper would touch the back of the spokes), 15mm is a bit too much really but they're staying for now.

Once the RSII's are on I'll be a bit happier... won't be for a good while yet though, there's a lot to get sorted first Poliq :(

After a long wait I have some very small updates.
I've had the roof wrapped matte silver by Arun. It has came out exactly how I wanted it to - nice and subtle:

And it now has Heko wind deflectors as seen above and here:

I also need a new mirror cap after a brick flew off a truck and nailed the drivers door mirror on the A38

Hey mate, how are you finding the finish/quality of the wheels now they've been on a while?

Mine have a few stone chips on and where I curbed one wheel it is lifting and going milky in the paint around the curb mark!

I have to say I am happy with them but the paint chips and marks too easily as do the lacquered dishes but with that softness they do polish up pretty quick. They're withstanding the local roads quite well with all of the potholes too.
You can always sand back the damage, polish and re-lacquer the damaged areas as I have done a few times.

Cool mate, yeah that's what I'm finding with stone chips, seems tochip the laquer very easily!

I also have a bad groove where I used the standard spare wheel brace to remove my wheel bolts....oops!

How did you find the arb fitting by the way? Much change in performance?

I have the same marks in the bolt holes from using my wheel brace as well - I've sanded it down to stop it catching now though.

Fitting the ARB was pretty straight forward, it does seem a little stiffer up front but the reason I got it was to stop the rubbing issue.

Loving what your doing with your tolly fella

Had mine a couple of months now and loving it immensely

Ive been thinking of a dark roof wrap, for a contrast but your matte silver looks really well. Any chance of a couple of better shots of it please?

Will be at mansfield saturday at s hark performance so will keep an eye out for any tollys seeing as though they seem to congregate there lol (hardly see any round my way)

Cheers

Thanks Damo,

I'll get some better pics of the roof tomorrow if I'm not too busy with the interior.

I went for the matte silver as it's nice and subtle plus I've not seen it done before, it went down well at the East Mids dub meet on Thurs too.

You'll have to get a readers ride thread started :D

Also known as Spring mode, Summer mode and Autumn mode

I'll get some pics of the complete interior when I have time and enough daylight.

Good work fella

Absolutely love how your rear wheel tucks under the arch...beautiful!

Still waiting for that roof shot ;)

Cheers

Damo

I know Damo. It's been difficult to get a pic as I've been working mental hours and either busy at weekends or have been away or the car has been frozen so you can't even tell the roof has been wrapped .
I'll try and get a pic or two tomorrow if I can.

The rear arches have been pulled slightly, nothing too drastic. It has the remains of the rear arch liners in, but it is only outer facing lips that have been rubbed away really.

I can't wait to see your Leon either! I didn't think the wheels would suit a Leon but boy was I wrong

Awesome mate, would love to get that stance/tuck on mine!

Cheers :D Really pleased with how the car's comin together, glad I'm not the only one taken with the Cades wheels!

I've wanted to do the interior for ages, but not 100% how to do it, and I can usually work things out lol! Got enough pics to do a guide?, or a list of plastic primer/sprays you used? Looks good, what colour is the roof? I'm going to get mine done black I think, Got a silver/black theme going on.... Pics asap ;)
