Hi Peeps,

Owned a Mk3 Ibiza for a while now and just wandering about the N75!

Ive done a search and found a few bits but still a bit confused..

1. What is the N75 and what does it do?

2. What does it look like and where is it? (Under the engine cover i think!)

3. Is it possible to upgrade the N75? Is there any reason to do so?

4. Why are there different version of N75? Have like c or d at the end or something?

Any help appreciated on this kinda stuff..

Cheers

Rich

mate seriously...try harder next time u search cos its just been done over an over

the n75 is basically boost control, it has 3 vac hose connections, its black and resides in between the metal charge pipe and the tip.

the seat ibiza cupra comes stock with C or F valves, both are the same basically, other models came with different valves such as the J or H, people reckon if u fit the J valve to the ibiza the boost comes in harder and quicker but alot of people with revo have had trouble with it, others have had none.

however, the n75 valve does no over ride the ecu, so no matter what valve, it wont be a cheap method to increasing boost as some have thought in the past.

imo, its not worth the bother

unless yours is dead dont replace it, ive tried all but one of the variations and there really isnt any noticeable improvement, one might bring your boost on 300 revs earlier but doesnt make the car any faster/boost any harder so really its not worth buggering around.
