N75 Valve question..

ok i swapped my valve for somebody elses, and seems to make a difference.

Mine is still hesitating etc..

I have a "C" Valve, Mikes was an "F". Immediatly boosted to 7 not 6psi as before on stock. and currently i do see the boost gauge jumps slightly when at full boost, and also goes to 4, then jumps the rest of the way after a little hesitation.

WHich valve should be on the car? , C or F or J? it feels slow slow, im quite annoyed.:think:

This is my vag-com log of a stock ECU, surely i should be seeing more torque than that? Temps look good, maf seems good for a stock car, what you think to the n75 duty anybody? 3rd and 4th gear pull

So my N75F is incorrect? Weird? Must of been like that for a while? I bought the car from a dealer (not from new)...

On FlashBSD's it definately felt quick, even standard?

Flash we should of tried your N75 on mine, see what happens? Can do that Weds if ya like?

Seems odd a C would be standard? Not disagreeing, just saying when mine was RR and it had the F on it, it gave usual figures? (155bhp and 167lb/ft).

Can anyone explain in simple terms the difference between an N75C and an N75F? Flash and I have our own views on it, but would be interested to hear others?

Leeroy, would be interesting to see (if you could) you swap your N75C for someone with an F, see if you feel any difference, it was definately better on Flash's. IF what RALF says is true, it could of been an update? Strange though as yours I see is a 51 plate? Unless its been replaced in the past?

On weds, we are gonna swap them over and do a log on mine with a C valve and a log with my F valve.

Will feed back results, but would be interested on more opinions from you chaps..

Mines an 02 plate....guess which valve it came with ;)

Do a search and you'll find plenty of info about swapping them and what the different versions do/do not do ;)

Make sure you disconnect the battery for 10 mins before doing the run and then do the same again before you swap the valves over for the second run.
