Fixed a small oil leak, the hose from the PCV valve didnt seal that well anymore. Replaced both O-rings with new Nitril rings. I will probably buy a new hose somewhere in the future, as they are pretty cheap.
This is how the Cupra should have been outfitted from the factory. The diffuser needs to be more outspoken and Rieger Tuning have a perfect solution for that. I bought the Rieger Tuning, as the Maxton diffuser had quite some leadtime and I didn't want to wait any longer.
Kudos to Rieger for their packaging, the diffuser is well protected. Fitment is also very good, and comes with instructions and fitting materials.
Looking impressive allready!

You need to drill out these 2 rivets
Took me a lot of time to get it off. Finally I got the hang of it, you need to manhandle it a bit to get it loose. Just look at the difference haha
Bought this uprated Bartek DSG DQ250 cooler (10 rows > 20 rows), but I had to send it back. I found out later I bought the wrong one. Maybe in the future I will buy the correct version.
Personally I fitted the DSG Aux Radiator with CSF Quadruple Pass DSG Cooler although Airtec do a cheaper version and certainly when I tested it out on the track it made a big difference to DSG Oil Temps.
@tracktoy Left side is empty on my car, I wanted to add a fuel cooler there, which looked very easy to "plumb" in. What would your advice be? Retrofit the second cooler or fuel cooler?
Sorry was out on a track day all day so not had time to reply.
I will be honest and say I had not come across the fuel cooler before and I would suggest you need to decide what you want from your car. Mine is very much track focused so the second cooler was a) cheaper than replacing the main rad and b) it came as standard kit on the Golf R.
Cant see any benefit with regards to temps but its an insurance policy.
From what I have read about the fuel cooler I cant see a need for me to have one and certainly I am not sure you are going to get a huge benefit from it on a road car, however as I said its not a bit of kit I have seen talked about and non of the tuning companies or fellow track users (today) had any experience off. However manic172 would probably be better placed to answer if its worth it for a daily driver.
@tracktoy Thanks for your insights! I like to try stuff, but in the end it will stay a road/daily car. I was unaware that the Golf R had a secondary cooler over there. As this is a shared platform, it makes more sense to add that secondary cooler as well instead of a fuel cooler.
You are right it is all on the MQB Platform but there are still differences between Skoda/Seat/VW and Audi setups generally VW and Audi got more stuff.
Upgraded the well known coolant nipple with a billet version. Bought it on Aliexpress. Quality is great and fitment is 100%
Not that difficult to do and ensures a leak free nipple for many miles to come. My plastic nipple seemed ok, the O-ring was flattened & a bit hardened (which is normal after 10 years).
