That is an oil light you SHOULD be concerned with!
I though you were referencing the oil light which goes out when the engine starts.
There are plenty of cases with the 1.2 and 1.4 oil filters being incorrectly changed either by leaving an old o ring seal in there (or missing one!) or fitting the wrong oil filter part number.
To double check I would give it a fresh oil and filter change with genuine oil filter from
dealer - and the correct oil grade.
