Hello!

Ive just had 4 wheel alignment (not going to name the company :) ) in Milton Keynes, and theyve told me there is negative camber on the rear wheels after lowering the car on coilovers and there is no adjustment.

I dont think thats much of a problem really is it?

was just leaving a thread so others who have lowered theres will possibly have the same negative camber as me on my rear wheels! :)

Hmm, negative camber? Doesnt that mean you will have excessive wear on your inside edges of the tires?

Just have to go round corners faster - that will cause the wheel to adopt a more neutral position and have the tread in full contact with the road, im sure they set racing cars up with negative camber for this reason?? The forces acting on the wheels under cornering straighten the wheel up and ensure full tread contact with the tarmac, therefore giving more grip! It will also stop excessive wear on the inside edges! Whoever would have thought driving faster round corners could improve the life of your tires!

haha yeh that is the correct answer. and yeh that is why they put negative camber on racing cars, just look at any F1 wheel, looks likes its cambered so much when standing still!

So solution, drive faster! lol

Yeh its a good thing, you should have it at the front to if you've lowered it enough!I also found that i got toe in on the rear after lowering it loads. You will get a bit more uneaven tyre wear but its not a bad compromise for better handling.
