New 17" Oz Racing Wheels? Will they fit?

Hi,
I have a 1997 Seat Ibitha Cupra R, 8V in immaculate condition. I am seriously tempted to fit some Oz racing wheels and was wondering if anyone has had experience of fitting 17" wheels on this car? The standard wheels are 15". The new wheels would be 205/40/17. My question is will they fit straight onto my car without any issues? ie scraping the rear wheel arches. Also, will the ride be badly effected? With the current 15" wheels the ride is not exactly comfortable! The alternative would be to fit 16" wheels at 195/45/16. Thanks in advance for any feed back.

I know they done a Cupra Sport that i think was limited edition. I thought the Ibiza 6K was the first SEAT to have the R badge!!!!

The MK2 is also a 6K, but the R was only released on the MK3.

Its probably a GTI or a Cupra Sport...same thing!

Hi

With the mk2 ibiza's they only had cupra sport and gti models. Never did a cupra R model in our shape.

I assume you meant cupra sport. I ahve 17'' oz turismo's on mine and they fit fine. No rubbing or arch work needed.
