New aerial choices...A3..?

Thinking about a new aerial because the standard one is huge and looks crap...

I no i could get a bee stng one etc but was after somthing a bit different dont like the idea of the shark fin from the bmw looks to chav...

See an 57 plate audi a3 earlier and im liking the aerial on it quite alot anyone done anything similar or no the posibilities of fitting one..??

Depends which arial you get but i know some of them are not cheap. I rang audi about a replacement one for one of our customers was like £35 plus vat.

Yea wouldn't imagine they would be very cheap mite have a look at some scrappys or somthing see if i can source one from there maybe...???

The audi's aerial only does their hands free kit. the radio aerial is built into the rear screen

Well to be honest i dont ever use the radio but want to keep it just incase my cd player packs up or somthing...may give that a try anyway...

I have a CTR one. I know the S2000 one also fits (may be one and the same TBH)

I'm sure a citreaon c2 or c4 fitted, looks good too. Have a search but not just in the ibiza mk3 section.

ive just got an s2000 aerial and it looks good, nice and small and screws straight on.

Nope, i found it on ebay but you can get it from the pug dealers also, i bought one for my dad for Xmas and it looked pretty good so tried it on mine and it fits perfectly around the base.

It made of a rubber compound like the S2000 aeriel and it only sits 2.5" high.

I`ll get some pics tommrow if i remember.

Mmm £5. Tempting. I bought one off ebay but it's gloss black and doesn't blend in aswell.

How well does the wider bit fit? Is is the same size as the base? Made out of rubbery stuff like the base?

Exactly that, perfect fit to the base, doesnt overlap like the CTR/S2000 one.
