Going to treat my car with a new one for Winter as mine is the OE and is now approaching 8 years old, fancy a super dooper Bosch from Eurocarparts for £85 ish, any other recommendations for a high performance battery ?

Make sure you get the correct one from euro car parts always worth double checking with their online chat thing.
I got mine from there earlier in the year for around £50, there are generally discount codes floating about.

I just had to buy a new battery, picked one up for £55 with 3 year warranty from local vag parts place. Halfrauds were £90-£120

so, i'm also looking at replacing my battery, been meaning to do it since last winter! Just trying to figure our what is the best to go for. Don't want to spend more than £70-£80
1 question though. if your cars been mapped, will this be effected when you disconnect? If so can it be turned back on with vag.com? And if yes is the answer, anyone nr silverstone with a vag.com?? :)

When i come to replace mine i will be going for an Optima yellow top, not the cheapest but very good
Drycell battery giving very high CCA and excellent ability to deep cycle

i had the optima yellow top in my old corolla, and it was awsome! Cant recommend it enough. i was running 2 comp 12" subs, 2x monoblock amps, a 4 channel amp ,20 farad cap and that never gave me any issues.

thanks lads

searched some other threads and exact size of original is 278x175x190mm

Regarding battery sizes 096 is the size in the last post. Eurocarparts have changed the part to 100 now. Its the same dimensions but 15 shorter/lower/smaller
I bought a 100 size bosch s5 - 4 yr warranty- £80 72ah 740cca or the s4 096- £70 with discount.
