Hey all,
i got a 05 TDI FR about a month ago now, and must say, im VERY happy with it :)

After browsing the forum and planning what im going to do with the car i wangled my way down to the seat dealer today and ordered myself a front splitter, which will be arriving on wednesday.

I also asked prices for a Cupra rear spoiler, which they gave me the price of £105, primed. which brings me to the first question, will my rear light fit the Cupra spoiler or will i need to buy the Cupra light to?

Last but not least, Im not enjoying the role on the car, im used to a Civic Sport which didnt have alot of body role, so ive been looking at Anti Role Bars.
they're going to be about £160 after tax, from awesome-gti.com, but is it worth it?

Im eventualy going to lower the car, but after reading some threads it would seem im better of going for full coilovers rather than the Eibach springs i was going for on standard shocks?

Thanks

Elfman

Lower springs on standard shocks will RUIN your shock absorbers over time. Plus the springs seem to lower the front - but not the back all that much.

And you can get some front and back anti roll bars from TSR Performance. Just don't let the c**ts anywhere near your car for gods sake! When you lower your car you will notice on hell of a lot of difference to the body roll.......or lack of. :D

Lower it. Not only will it look better but will handle a lot better. Get a front strut brace and some 20mm hubcentric rear spacers and you'll be laughing bud. :)

Thanks for the advice guys, i'll get saving, it'll be a while i imagen, cant see my insurance liking me having the car lowered haha!

Thats why mine is standard ride height. :D

Hey if it's that bad - buy a dozen bags of sand and put them in your boot! Or buy a fat prositute and keep her in your boot. That'll keep the car nice and low.

hhmmm i dont know which would be less painfull sand or a fat prossie :) never know, it may improve when i get my 12" Alpine type R sub in, and multichannel amp :) that'll weigh it down haha!

Doesn't work. :( My sub doesn't. The suspension is quite stiff tbh.

Although today I've noticed my car leans quite a lot to the right. A lot bigger gap between wheel and arch on passenger than on drivers side. I'm not that fat to have bedded the drivers side right down.....I hope. :(

Theres more weight on the drivers side due to the position of the engine.

Plus you adding weight to that side will make it lower through time.

I noticed that when i fitted the coilovers. They had to be a couple threads higher on the drivers side front.

Ah right! Cheers a_waugh! :)

It's like an extra fingers width! 3 fingers on drivers side - 4 on passenger! :(

No bother matey.

Confused me aswell till someone told me.
