Maybe it would be better to say that the M240i is 'slightly quicker' than the
Cupra Leon - saying one is slower than the other suggests that both cars are 'slow', which they both definitely are not. Does that
point something of a second really matter in the real world when considering changing from one car to another?
The 4.5 VZ3 is very well appointed as standard and I think the only thing missing for me, if pushed, is a HUD - nice to have but that really doesn't matter that much personally.
Some might look down on the Cupra and it may be considered a 'lesser' car than a BMW, bit who really gives one? Remember that the 4.5 VZ3 is basically a 300BHP Golf Clubsport under its (more attractive and edgy) outer skin, so hardly an embarrassment to drive. Have a look at one of the
reviews here in the Media section and you'll see how good it is.
And I say all this as a self confessed BMW and VAG fanboy of many years standing.
