Seems so, when i drove it last month (press car) i felt it was pokier than its factory figures suggested. Certainly not earth shattering compared to the torque of a tuned R. But I can't wait to see wht these start producing tuned.
Always worth getting some figures before you start fettling. I never did it with my R and its hard to know where it went from to where it ended up.

well its nice to see the figures are steady and reliable from different RR,s. I have been out in one and i must say it hid its power well. I was a little underwhelmed with it to be honest. Power was progressive but not at all inspiring. Personally its going to take a while for me to like the shape and ergonomics of the new model. Found the driving position compromised and the blind spot with that massive A pillar was huge.
Once its shown that 330bhp+ is achievable and affordable i might be tempted. Meanwhile to all those lucky enough to own one, enjoy it, and get all those inevitable little niggles sorted out.

Blind spots are an affliction all modern cars have - huge A pillars etc. Rear view mirror needs to be 2/3rds the size

It was redlined in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Mork. Handled well and felt planted on the road. It just didn,t float my boat thats all. Probably trying to judge it against my modded LCR, so i will be keeping an eye on the progression of the engine mods with an envious eye.
Don't worry about it mate. Some people are on here for arguements only it seems

I thought the same and then realised most of the dealers are running them on 95RON fuel. This makes a significant difference. Also when new they are very tight.
Remember, part of the philosophy of the new cars will be to make the power more usable than the older generation cars, so the power will have been stretched across the power band (upto 7200rpm), so your not losing so much traction when a great big wallop of torque gets blasted at the gearbox. By applying the power in a more linear fashion it means less TCS and more power to the road. Problem is it feels slower as its less throw into seat than a lot of us have been used to.
