New "Facelift" ibiza!

The car in the picture looks like its got a 1.2 engine in it judging by the engine cover.
Seat must have cottoned on to the sales of the front and rear cupra bumpers as so many people have bought them after they got the car so they thought:think: we'll stick them on as standard along with double headlights. I suppose that they are just trying to get the image of seat being a sporty brand and want all their cars to look as fast as each other. Next thing we'll know they'll be putting the new leon cupra and fr bumpers on the standard altea and leon;)

The side top side vents at either side of the S grille are back on the production car. Found that was one of the big differences between the current and proposed Mk5.

This will sound stupid but does anyone know yet if they're just different bumpers - will they go on a Mk4? Or will they need to be chopped to fit? The shape of the car is the same, to me it's just Cupra style bumpers - will that affect normal TDI's then with the SMIC? :S

 Wow, great find, what a star! It looks really good and I'm very envious. It makes the current model look extremely ordinary.

You can say that again. And I have my FR just for 4 weeks now:(
I'm really disappointed now that I don't have the facelift
I like the steering wheel and the wheels,I find the bumpers even more beautiful then the ones from the cupra.

Why does no-one read the Embargoed line. By posting this on the forum, your breaking the embargo. Not supposed to be released by media until midnight tonight.

Its a bit silly really, considering its now live on their own media site, they should lock it down to the public really, like it used to be, if they don't want stuff to be released before a set date and time.

But here on SCN we prefer to respect their embargo's.

So, it looks like we get:
Cupra style bumpers front and back
17" wheels similar in style to the Cupra's
new seat fabric similar to the original Leon Cupra's
more stylish and shapely steering wheel (without remote radio controls)
restyled main dials
new gear knob similar to Fabia VRS
new badging
chrome handbrake button?
new rear wiper.

Anything else?

No they didn't for the reason, posted above ;) Embargoed until midnight :p

Though i am beginning to wonder why they bother having a media site in the public domain, then embargo the contents.
