Yup, my brand new, 400 mile FR+ 150TDI just stopped working this morning! drove to end of road, was waiting at traffic lights and the engine just stopped dead! couldn't start it again, engine turned but wouldn't start. Called seat mobility, AA turned up 15 minutes later, couldn't get it to work so took me to dealer down the road. They where puzzled as to why a car would brake down only after 400 miles! got a hire car for 3 days now, a snail slow fiat punto! hope they can sort it out quickly

I had a similar problem, during the 30k's though. Engine stuttered a little then died completely, would turn over but not fire up. I was at the very top of Scotland on a remote road when it happened!

Mine turned out to be something along the lines of a poor earth connection on the ECU. SEAT Assist / a Ford garage / the AA got the car back to Manchester, and it was repaired and waiting a few days later when I'd driven the Meganne hire car back.

who forgot to fill it with diesel then.......

strange that, but least the seat recovery thing is good, i had to use mine 3 times on my 20vt ibiza and each time the AA sorted the problem, well worth it.

Pleased on my new one i have got the remainder of the 5 yr AA cover ( so just under 4 yrs cover) , don't think SEAT do that anymore, thinkits just a year now or 3.

yeh, just hope its a simple fault  my last leon was from new, and had the coil pack problem and a water impeller failier within the first 3 years, with coils going at 15k... would have hoped to of got a few more miles than 400 before bits went wrong:help: hope it ain a friday car as they say

Noticed you're in Portsmouth, did you get the car from Kings?
