after replacing the post lambda sensor after it was totaly buggered.
fitted the new in and the car was fine for a few days.
then the fault keep cuming up:

17522 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B1 S2: Internal Resistance too High
P1114 - 35-00 - -

i cleared it but keeps coming back! :wtf:

HELP

Hard to say whether it's faulty without doing the tests in the repair manual for your specific motor. Could be wiring or connectors rather than the sensor itself.

my lambda sensors seemed to have failed after hitting a deep puddle, i wasnt even going very fast, circa 5mph. turned out it was the lambda connector (under the black box that looks like an alarm speaker, 2 x 10mm nuts removes it and you have easy access to the connectors)
This is what happens!

when i fitted the lambda sesnor the block connector on both ends look fine to me, guna have double check. they wdidnt look like that in the picture!!
if find any signs of rust, can i use some wd40 on the connector to clear the rust?

here is shot of lambda sensor connector -

Here is shot of the other side of the connector coming from the car -
im not sure if it is rust or i8s jus gold plated on two of the pins?

well no! after scrubbing on the pins, it did no effect, i clear the fault but it keeps coming back!
any other suggestions?

if the plug was damaged, what if i jus CHOP the both connectors off and join the wire together. will the fix the error?
