No, the golf has it on a sporty platform, the Leon with have it on a 'rugged' platform like the octavia scout.

SEAT need to replace the Ibiza, Alhambra and make a proper saloon out of the Toledo and they make plans for another 'cross-over'

Surely they would be better off doing all the above and make a Leon CC (like the Eos) and a proper 4x4 to challenge the Freelander

Agree with that - you don't see many octavia 4x4's or scenic 4x4's.

Don't agree with challenging the Freelander. That car is massive and if people want a cheaper option they will buy the latest offerings from Korea etc.

- There is a new MPV in the pipeline to replace the Alhambra (unknown date)
- There is an all new saloon car in the pipeline to replace Toledo (2009)
- There are plans to change the interior of the Leon (VW dash etc...possibly from the Passat)
