New turbo time..

Afternoon,

Im thinking of changing my Turbo for a 150PD, ive seen one for £400 (garrett off a golf)

Ive had a search and found that it can be done (A.M.C ibiza) did it, and a few others, im just unsure of what else exactly i need.. im thinking new injectors, decat dp?

Just so i can add up all the costs and see if its worthwhile, anyone done this and what would i need exactly?

ive got a mk3 110 tdi sport (asv engine code)

iirc the 110's have different internals to the 130/150pd

Hmm i hope not, from what ive read it only seems to be the injector nozzles, need some off a T4 Transporter.

Now im just thinking is it going to be much of a straight replacement, because i have access to ramps just want to know if i can swap or how much fabrication is required

the 110 and 130/150 are completely different engines altogether, however i know BRAD1 managed to fit a 130 pd turbo to his none pd 110 tdi.

Well ive done some reading, it seems more work + money than its worth..

Im now thinking of a refurb of my turbo, or are there any hybrid possibilities for the GT17 on mine?

Im getting way too used to the power of my car and im itching to get more out of it

The pd130/150 turbo does bolt on im sure. Look for more info on tdiclub.com
