On the boxters they did a 17'' 5 spoke swept back(turbo twist) rim they would look awesome was going to get them myself until some other porsche wheels came up and can be picked up for reasonable monies on e-bay!

Wouldnt touch Keskins with a barge pole. Every pair I have seen have had laquer peel and I'm always hearing the same from people that have them and seeing it posted on forums.

For the past 2 years I've been searching for a good set of 16" RS 003 to run with high polished centers, can't settle for anything less although schmidt modern line 3pc and the TH lines are tempting!

Any of these wheels will require a large sacrifice of your 4pots though or big spacers :s

I reckon cream/white centers will look awesome phil, especially with a high polished dish and plenty of girth on the back!

No doubt which ever wheels you choose will look sweet. The car looks mint as it is fella!

Think thats why he was thinking of 17's due to the 4 pots.

17's doesnt mean they will clear brembos/wilwoods etc etc. Need 38mm caliper clearance for brembos for example no matter what size the wheel. Wilwoods is slightly less I think and if you have gone the porsche brakes route a little more.

Thanks pj, that sort of makes sense now so its caliper to spoke if you like clearance we are taking about, thought it was caliper to inside of the rim,

Well my oz's barley clear my brembos, need to figure out where to get them balanced due to caliper being so close. dont want weights on the outside like the tyre place mentioned.

Sorry for high jacking Philw

if you were going to do that phil they would be worth getting because polishing the the lips would cure the peeling problem, they do look good on the cupras! Dz exclusives are another awesome set of wheels!

The metal the keskins is made of isnt very good either though so I wouldnt want to run them with a polished lip. Not a wheel brand I have any confidence in tbh.

.

Thats not good news, but i guess they'd hardly be on the car so wouldnt have much chance to corrode.

Does anyone have any pics with kt4's on an ibiza?

Its a common problem with them. A few sets being mistreated by the owners I could understand but there are literally hundreds of people that have had laquer peel with keskins. They look nice and are not cheap but thats just another reason why I wouldnt buy some or recommend them after seeing quite a few sets look awful after such a short time as 6 months in some cases. A friend of mine thats a very good painter by trade sent his back as they were so bad and he wouldnt even consider sorting them out himself as they had gone so bad and had seen other bad things about them after looking into it abit.

I wouldnt as show wheels. If they had good tyres such a eagle f1s, pzero neros that were as new then I would as just some shitters just to run around on as the tyres will be worth a good £200 and the wheels will always be worth £100 to somebody even if they have no laquer and are pitted! lol

Any good tyre fitter will be able to sort this for you Will.

Its a long way to go but, a good mate of mine works in the costco tyre bay in westhill. Hes an utter ledge when it comes to looking after wheels when putting rubber on be it stretched or not. He did my fronts with the weights double stacked in the middle and inner edge of the wheel to clear the brembos ;)

Hell be doing the rears for me aswell shortly as ive got a pair of Eagle F1's (part worn with 6mm of tread all round) for £50
