My 1st thread, just need some help with finding a part number for a rear engine mount not the gearbox one.

As above for a 2001 1.4 16v 55kw version.

Going phone up Seat and VW and see if they have one and the price differences but can't find the part number until I take the old one out.

I'm a Seat virgin but am led to believe they are the same as the MK3 Golf ones, if VW have em it'll save me a 60 mile journey.

Did try and source a copy of Autodata but it looked like a virus so thought I'd try you knowledgeable peeps.

Help with the part number much appreciated. :)

Anyone done the job themselves, looks like lots of room to work in and the usual 13mm and 17mm sockets and a decent jack, worth a DIY or shall I get someone that knows their arse from their elbow to do it for me?

Easy to change, been there done that. Aint got a clue about a part number tho mate, best off ringing the dealers as theres not alot of info on the 1.4 models on here tbh. Be sure to give eurocarparts and GSF a ring aswel tho as they may do them and they'l be cheaper than the dealers.

Dont go fitting it yourself if your not confident tho or you'l end up with the car off the road if you cant finish the job

Ah well it's actually for a Cordoba but i thought I'd get more of a response in here.

Found the part number and it's the same a 1.4/1.6 Mk3 Golf, VW wanted £65 for it!

Part number 1H0 199 262E

Need to find a cheaper solution as i'm without a job at the moment.

Seen a load of Poly bushes for £50 but don't really need stiffness, now trying to find a pattern part that fits my budget.

Thanks for the help.
