i ordered mine 29th November and picked it up 6th March.

to be honest said i wanted to wait till the 1st as wanted it on a 10 plate....There was a holdup in Sheerness so had to wait till the 6th. Was worth the wait though as i got the car Autoglymd and interior scotchguarded for free .. and a tank of petrol...

Ahh that makes sense, I forgot about the whole 10 plate thing, thankfully here we don't have that problem, our plates just run untill they've exhausted all the numbers for that series. Then they just move onto the next series.

My Iphone works on the blue tooth but had to put voice commands in manually as i only have the 3g not the 3gs.

Decided to put all my music on a usb memory stick, that works ok for me as i thought i'd probably forget to take the ipod out and would be on view
then get stolen.

I've only got the 3G, when you say you had to manually add the voice controls, is that in to the car system because the 3G doesn't have voice control built in?

Yes as 3g no voice i assume thats why,can use the phone to make calls ,but that defeats the hands free aspect. luckily i didn't have many to add as i don't usually make calls in the car.
I found i had to say the numbers quite fast otherwise it left the last few numbers off and then when i said delete it thinks i say 3 -8 found cancell worked well when i made a mistake.

All weekend I was annoyed I had not added the dark tinted windows to the car. I emailed my dealer, who rang me back and confirmed they had successfully been added to the order. Yay.

Just bluetooth/usb on my SC TDI. Reason it was so quick is that it was a stock car. There were plenty of cars on the stock system with various extras when I ordered.

I think the only good thing about having to wait a couple of months is I can save a couple of months car payments to act as a buffer in case I spend too much on gadgets in a particular month.

Makes sense, I went a bit crazy with the options list so I had to wait the full 12 weeks, not that I minded as I was in no hurry to get rid of my old car, and it gave me more time to gather up some money for the deposit.

The other reason I had for getting it quickly was the Seat loyalty bonus ending on the 31st March. I would have liked to have gone for a factory build with plenty of extras but they couldn't guarantee the £1k off would still stand.

I got told as long as you order your car before then you would get the loyalty bonus. I ordered mine with the loyalty bonus and mine isnt coming till early april and I have still got the loyalty bonus added on.

The stuff the garage had from seat did say registered before 31st March. They will have to honour it now for you anyway.
