A GREAT START!

Put the mirrors back in to "sleep" position this morning now they will not go back - BF's had a look, fuse is not blown and him and his mechanic mate has said the switch it broken.. GRRRRRRRRRR!

So now I'm carless once again! [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

well I did - and trust me Brum, was not a safe experience as I have privacy glass in the rear making it quite awkward to reverse without any mirrors.

AA man has just been - spent an hour on it and has confirmed it is just the switch.

So, not even had it 24 hours and a claim (hopefully) on the warranty already.

So unable to show it off at work tomorrow :(

Sorry to hear that, i know how you feel, had mine 2 weeks and have been back to the dealer 3 times with a bearing noise. Stick with it and everything will be cool.

If you don't feel comfortable driving it like that then don't. I would but everyone's different.

Well its been a week and I have to say I'm loving this car, just getting used to its dimensions and finding it a little easier to park.

Have to say it doesn't feel all that fast now? I know it is, I've just got used to it very quickly!

Local Seat dealership gave me the secondary radiator fuse which the BF will fit over the weekend, they've said if it blows again something is up :(

About £300 + depending what company you go with which should take the car to about 180ish bhp. Go on you know you want to...:cheeky:

sounds okay - :funk: watch this space!

What about suspension - I had my Ibiza lowered and it really improved the ride and cornering - the Leon is quite low at the front already (I now I'm gonna hit it at some point) but can I make the suspension stiffer/better?

I may have something useful to offer here, I had a new shape Octavia a while back (mk5 platform) with very similar seats. It to had a squeaky seat (cured the same way as yours)...what I did was to un-clip the back of the seat trim from the underside near where the mechanism raises and lowers the seat. It needed some lubrication (spray PTFE or silicone) and job done! Never heard a peep from it . Easy to re-attach the trim as well. Hope this may help.

Wash day...

I was going to wash mine, and it's raining in Havant as well. Least I wouldn't have to dry it off

I've been thinking about a remap also, but I have this in mind...I think that if an owner fully exploited the cars stock performance and handling your pants would let go long before the car! :-o

Sounds like fun though...
