Well i just phoned up and put my deposit down so i am feeling good and bad, good the fact that i cant wait to get my new cupra, bud sad because i will miss my LCR... at least i will have a few more weeks with the LCR to get some photos and then it will be time to let her go ...

finally found a good company to deal with after speaking to about 5,

i went for the white cupra with the black wheels, not looking forward to running it in but hey its only 800miles "i think", i am getting it on the 1st september so that it will be a 57plate... really hope i have made the right decision.

yeah mate the roads are pretty good for the bikes but i have decided to sell it while i am still alive, i want 6K for it but it is on ebay so i am hopeing that it goes up a little...

You have made the right decison. The cupra is totally awesome. I did't own a LCR but had a remapped petrol cupra MK1 and I must say I am absoloutely amazed at how good the new cupra is. It sounds and feels like a 6 cylinder car until you hit 5k revs and then the thing just takes off in a jaw dropping way. I can't imagine what its capable of chipped. Must be a total animal.

As you can tell I have not abided by the running in time. All I have done is waited until the car has come up to temperature. However, I have abided by the 3/4 maximum speed thing but not the revs.

I have had three leons and I will rate them in pleasure factor as follows

Mk1 Leon Cupra 7.5/10 (8.5/10 when remapped)
Mk2 Leon Sports Tdi 6.5/10 (7.0/10 when remapped)
Mk2 Leon Cupra 9.8 (fook knows remapped)

it was arnold clark in paisley, the guy was nothing but helpful to me and was willing to dosome extra stuff to the car for me. that isnt to say things wont change when i hand over the cash

Owen - I was drooling over your cupra when I was buying the IC. Leather Trim inside? It was done by a local company in Johnstone so its a one off as far as im aware. Saw you up at Crail too, didnt get the chance to say hello as you left early. How you liking the car anyway?
