Hey folks,
I fitted 2 Autogauge gauges yesterday and they are quite loud when you turn the ignition on... It's not the whole anti-vibration tpiece thing, as it makes the sound if I take the vacuum cable out, it's more the electrical side of things making a buzzing / humming type sound.
Plus... The voltmeter makes the sound too... (about 12.3v being used when driving it shows)
It's decent cable being used and essentially 2 wires, wired into the headlight switch, active on ignition. Earthing is fine.
I know autogauge are not the 'top end' of gauge makes, so before I replace them, just wondered, is it definately due to those gauges being fairly noisy?
