The car was running 26psi n had been for 11months! it also done a 14.1 i think it was at santa pod and that was a poor run! my sig also says that my car is bk after xmas..

26psi , i run a K0401 on mine which effectively is the same as a ko3s and when jbs custom code 2'd the car it was set to just over 20psi and i nice and smooth.

26psi must be one hell of a spike?

Imagine what 32psi in mine feels like then ;) occasionally 36 psi on occasions.
I get on average 32pi at just under 2k rpm :D, and then levels off to about 22-25 psi

hehe....
37psi peaked on something larger :D and not sooty.

think on that :)

2.2bar max on mine for more sensible level.... but lets not forget boost is only one factor, with actual airflow being the more significant.

How did Allards handle the expiration of the other units??

i nearly brick it when i hitting about 20psi - 32 must make you feel special! :)

, yep its quite a kick i must say, but you get used to it, :( and it also feels a bit flat sometimes, so a possible custom map may be on the cards soon.

Allards were fantastic tbh when the second one snuffed it, as they were soo busy, they gave my instructions on how to get the turbo off, although they were only joking when they suggested it, i gave it a go and managed to get it off. A carrier was sent on there behalf to collect it, they then collected the car 2 days later and fitted a brand new one on, turned the map down slightly, and then i collected the car. It was all done under warranty, and was all sorted, however, the first one i had no comeback on, as it was second hand, no warranty, so i lost £500 and had to pay another £800 to buy a new turbo, so was an exspensive learning curve to make and to realise not to buy second hand engine parts ever again.
