What car? Non SFD2 - OBDeleven is fine. SFD2 -next to 0 DIY changes possible

www.beepoff.app launches soon, extremely useful for SFD2 cars
Beepoff sounds interest. It goes into the bus one assumes. Hence it has to be professionally fitted with all the handshakes and involvement of the mothership 🛸👽👾... pushing the boards graphics ;) .

Will be interesting to hear how people find it on each of the features by platform and cost. I note you are the developer.

in my OBDeleven app I can see some available one-click apps such as "Traffic Sign Speed Warning" and "Lane Assist Setting Memory". Has anyone tried these, do they actually work on sfd2 protected cars?

Pay for installation, pay if you ever change platform. That's it

Full functionality is included with the purchase of the device. No hidden costs

It's a joint venture between ourselves and another UK company we've worked closely with for years

No, they do not
I had a feeling they wouldn't. You'd have to look at the systems required, whether they were SFD2 protected and strike out the ones excluded. More than the A5 camera I reckon referenced above ;).

So the scientific approach is to look at the code, strike out the ones which include SFD2. Those one click apps I always regard as dangerous as some people find out they can't undo what has been done. Never liked Excel macros which is a bit like that. Makes it feel simple but then when it doesnt work you are in a mess with spreadsheet slippage and it all goes wrong

sorry not sure I understand. Are you saying that one-click apps work on SFD2 protected cars? The ones I mentioned in post #583?
He was saying that but I wouldn't trust the answer without checking it. Obdeleven board will show which modules cant be accessed due to SFD2. The "code" which is really the procedure for coding it is shown on the thread. If a disallowed module appears in that code then it cant be done. The modules have two characters letters. You list of those in the mod against whether they are all allowed.

Post 585 from @East Yorkshire Retrofits says it cant be done and the check is as I said. Wearing my tutorial hat on now. The project is as the first paragraph. If I did it you wouldn't learn anything. I dont have a car with SFD2 so I'm not inclined to rummage about and do that check myself, I'd believe @East Yorkshire Retrofits answer. But that's the check.

I dont like those micro payment apps they can be unreliable. It's better to code and for that you need the pro license but to save buying it for your purpose you can study the published code on the thread and elsewhere and study the Obdeleven board which provides SFD2 information of which units are blocked off. In SFD (1) they were open then Vag closed them down for SFD2. I'm sure that German board I referenced where I linked the PDF from will also mention it.

The code is on post 1 of this thread.

The Obdeleven thread dealing with the subject is this:

You put the two together.

Aha ok that makes sense, I suspected the same. Thanks for the info!

I wouldn't say that if I hadn't tested it. I've already changed the coding of the camera (control unit A5) on several vehicles with SFD 2.

A5 is driver assistance. Not too sure where that got commuted to camera  .

Anyhow you can download the app. Put a car in the "garage" and get the module codes then cross reference to the published mods in the thread against the SFD2 blocked modules from 2024/25. The Obdeleven board for that.

Hmm saying that it doesnt support the Formentor 2025 on. Snookered. Try upto 2024 and it's in. No modifications drop down box for post 2024.

Well you can put a pre 2025 Formentor in just to get the module codes and that cross check but they dont reckon you to use the app I'd say with SFD2. Probably stirring up a bees nest 🐝 🐝 🐝.
